Your Role as a Valued Patient
Optimal medical outcomes are achieved when patients and healthcare professionals collaborate with mutual trust, honesty, and shared responsibility.
Accurate Health Information
Provide complete and accurate health history, past illnesses, surgeries, and current symptoms to your treating doctors.
Accurately disclose all active medications, dietary supplements, drug sensitivities, and known allergies.
Promptly alert your healthcare team if your condition changes or any unexpected discomfort arises during hospital stay.
Treatment & Medication Adherence
Follow the doctor's instructions, dietary regimens, and prescribed clinical treatment plans diligently.
Take medicines only as prescribed; strictly avoid unapproved self-medication or altering prescribed dosages.
Follow all discharge instructions, wound dressing routines, and attend scheduled follow-up visits as advised.
Safety Checks & ID Protection
Protect your hospital identification wristband (UHID) and ensure it remains securely worn on your wrist at all times.
Cooperate with medical and nursing staff during mandatory identity verification, lab tests, and clinical checks.
Maintain personal hygiene and frequent hand washing to support hospital infection control standards.
Mutual Respect & Ward Harmony
Respect hospital staff, fellow patients, ward privacy, and visitors to maintain a peaceful healing environment.
Handle hospital property, monitors, beds, and diagnostic equipment with utmost care to prevent damage.
Respect silent zones and avoid making loud phone calls or unnecessary noise in ICU and patient recovery wards.
Appointments & Care Participation
Keep all scheduled doctor consultations on time, and notify the hospital in advance if you need to reschedule.
Participate actively in your care plan by asking questions and thoroughly understanding your treatment options.
Designate a primary family spokesperson to facilitate clear communication between doctors and relatives.
Financial & Policy Compliance
Settle all hospital medical bills, diagnostic charges, and financial obligations in a timely and transparent manner.
Present valid insurance cards, government scheme documentation (Ayushman Bharat), or employer proofs at admission.
Strictly abide by hospital visiting hours, visitor pass quotas, smoke-free zone policies, and discharge formalities.
Patient & Attendant Care Guidelines
Hospital Guidelines for Patients & Attendants
Visiting Hours & Attendant Pass Guidelines
General Ward visiting hours are scheduled daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. To prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure adequate patient rest, only one visitor pass is permitted per bed. Children under 12 years are not advised in ICU areas.
Admission Protocol, UHID & Identification Bands
Every patient is issued a Unique Hospital Identification (UHID) wristband upon admission. This band must be worn securely at all times to ensure 100% accurate medication verification, blood draws, and surgical checks.
Medication Safety & In-House Pharmacy Dispensation
For clinical safety and quality assurance, all medications and IV fluids must be dispensed directly through the hospital's licensed pharmacy. Self-administration of outside unverified drugs is strictly prohibited.
Nutritional Dietary Services & Sterile Kitchen Protocols
Patient diet plans are formulated by registered clinical dieticians according to individual metabolic needs (diabetic, salt-restricted, post-op soft diet). Outside cooked food is restricted to prevent foodborne complications.
Billing Transparency, TPA Cashless & Discharge Procedures
Detailed interim bills are available daily upon request. Planned discharges and cashless TPA insurance approvals are processed between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to allow timely medication counseling and transport arrangements.
